After a great deal of effort setting up our new camp non-profit and preparing our financials, we’re now ready to process Houpla Burning Man deposit returns! We’re pleased to report the camp will break even after deposit returns. So, the full $100 is available to each camper, subject to our volunteering requirements.
Please note we’ve added a few new items to the form this year:
- An option to make a full or partial deposit donation to the camp–after deposit returns the camp bank account will be back to zero, and we could really use your help with camp gear storage costs and other costs associated with upcoming burns and projects
- Questions on your hours spent volunteering with the camp both on and off playa–remember we’ll use a ranked total volunteer hour list to allocate our DGS tickets for next year

UPDATE–the deadline to submit deposit return forms was Friday, November 30th and is now closed. Any unclaimed deposits after this date have been converted to a camp donation. Thank you for participating, and please reach out with any questions.
